Providing health care service has been one of the important activities
to help particularly, poor people like agricultural labourers, construction
workers, tribal, women and other poor people in the interior areas. We
provide medicines to poor and marginalized people. Beside, providing medicines,
awareness is also generated to poor people for causes of disease and preventive
methods. The medicines are provided for common illness like fever, stomach
upset, diahorrea, and very light anti biotic for cough, for curing weak
ness, iron deficiency. The groups have provided medicines to around 15228
to the poor patients in rural, tribal areas for detail see the Annexure
C for group wise performance and utilization. |

The
medicine for Malaria is procured from PHC and the T.B patients are provided
medicines from government centers. The poor people are also helped to
get financial assistance form the government for eradicating the tuberculosis
like disease. |

As
medicine for diahorrea proves really beneficial in villages in monsoon
season, water born diseases are very prevalent. Beside tablets like Vitamin
A has been very helpful in curing the night blindness, Folic acid replenishes
the iron deficiency among women and children.. |
