Mobilizing Local Areas Development fund from the grant of elected representative
members, has been one of the very important activity for some of the fellow
groups have taken up to address the immediate need of community in respective
areas of fellow group, the needs are particularly of urgent order like
facility of drinking water, repairing of school rooms of PHC center’s
some physical development, construction of Panchayat premises, repairing
of road and many other needs, where grant from elected members comes very
easily compare to from district or state authorities, where every thing
goes to first planning department then get budget approval and so on.
The Member of Parliament gets Rs.3 crore and MLA get 50 lacks. |

Some
of fellow group have been mobilizing the grant from their respective elected
members for local area development in their respective pockets. As awareness
among the fellow group and also efforts for mobilizing the grant play
key role and also constant follow up with elected member is must. Following
is the brief detail. |

The
process involves village people to prepare a request to elected member
for allocating budget for development work with estimates. The elected
members have to recommend to district and taluka authorities for the same. |
