Disha's
groups have taken active role in eradication of polio by raising awareness
about ill effects of polio among children and adult and protection through
immunization drops. The groups have been generating awareness among the
parents for immunization and on the day immunization; parents are mobilized
with their kids to Pulse Polio Immunization booth for drops. During the
last year around 6387 children were immunized against Polio disease. |
