Mahila Mandals (women’s group) are formed for the women workers
primarily to organize of women who were engaged either in Tendu leaf plucking
or other minor forest produces collection, self-employed, doing agricultural
labor or construction labor work, etc. |
||
The activities aimed at better facilities in the work place and increase
in their wages also encourage women to save money for emergency need.
Apart from these regular activities it links with women’s saving
group and income generation activities e.g. raising nursery, poultry farming.
Through meetings and personal contacts we generate awareness among women
on various issues. |
